01The data closet

It starts where nobody looks.

Switches, firewall, patch panels, labeled Cat 6. Every phone call, camera, badge swipe and yard truck in this story leaves from this rack — designed, installed, monitored and supported by NCT.

The walk, in writing

One system, from the rack to the far end of the yard.

  1. 01The data closet

    It starts where nobody looks.

Switches, firewall, patch panels, labeled Cat 6. Every phone call, camera, badge swipe and yard truck in this story leaves from this rack — designed, installed, monitored and supported by NCT.

  2. 02The open office

Cable to desk. Dial tone on demand.

The same runs that leave the closet land on workstations and VoIP handsets. When a call connects here, it is the cabling, the switch port, the PoE budget and the phone system all working as one system.

  3. 03Overhead

Wi-Fi and cameras ride the same backbone.

Access points cover the floor and dome cameras watch it — both fed by the same structured cabling and the same managed network. Coverage and security stop being separate purchases.

  4. 04The conference room

A call that just works, every time.

Room camera, ceiling mics, speakerphone and display all provisioned on the network we built. Bandwidth is shaped for the call, so the meeting starts on time instead of starting with an apology.

  5. 05The lobby and the door

    Credential presented. Door decides.

A card reader checks the badge against the access-control system, the door unlocks, the camera timestamps the entry — and through the glass, the antenna that carries all of it off site is already in view.

  6. 06Across the property

No trench. No carrier circuit. Still one network.

A point-to-point link bridges the building to the truckyard, guard shack, containers and mobile offices. Point-to-multipoint and fixed wireless extend it to rural sites and temporary operations.

  7. 07The guard shack

Know the condition of every asset in and out.

Pole cameras document each truck arriving and leaving, and the guard sees the same footage the office does. That is the whole point: one connected operation, from the rack to the far end of the yard.

Everything in the walk, supported by one team
